The Mt Whitney Building will be a 11,711 sq. ft. adaptive re-use project located in the Central Eastside Industrial District of Portland. The mixed-use building will be demised into 4 tenant spaces: 2 Industrial Kitchens and 2 Retail and/or Office suites. The building will be renovated to meet current seismic standards, as well as the standards for the current Oregon Energy Code compliance. We will be upgrading all mechanical, plumbing, electrical and roofing/envelope systems of the building. A new façade facing SE 11th Street will be implemented, with enhancements to the ADA access. Additional improvements to the exterior include wood and concrete siding, metal awnings, storefront doors and windows, and landscaping.
Located from Hwy I-84 down to SE Powell, along the Willamette River. The CEID is home to most of Portland’s craft breweries and distilleries and has a strong presence of specialty-food production sites and creative work-spaces. The revitalization of this area of SE Portland has been an important focus of North Rim’s in recent years, and is also where our headquarters is located (8th & Morrison).
