The Building

This mixed-use office building was built from the ground up in 2012, led by North Rim Development in coordination with Pitman Restaurant Supply. The project is 12,700 square feet of space, including 6 commercial kitchens on the ground floor and 9 upstairs offices (with operable windows and private deck). The kitchen suites on the ground floor provide easy grab-and-go lunch options. There is secure bike storage available in the common area, as well as on-site guest parking in front of the building. The Neighborhood: Central Eastside Industrial District

Located from Hwy I-84 down to SE Powell, along the Willamette River, the CEID is home to most of Portland’s craft breweries and distilleries and has a strong presence of specialty-food production sites and creative work-spaces. The revitalization of this area of SE Portland has been an important focus of North Rim’s in recent years, and is also where our headquarters is located (8th & Morrison). It is close to both I-5 and the Hawthorne Bridge, serviced by several bus lines and the street car, and within easy biking distance from the waterfront and downtown Portland.
