Located in the heart of the Central Eastside District, 1 block off Hawthorne, the Matterhorn’s fully-equipped production kitchens can be used for catering and restaurant support, as a ghost- or cloud kitchen, product production, bakery, limited restaurant use, and grab-and-go distribution. All suites are built to be plug-and-play ready, are County-Health-Department-approved, and are inclusive of a mezzanine for storage or office use. Common area amenities include garbage/recycling, restrooms, outside seating, on-site delivery, and truck loading/parking.
Located from Hwy I-84 down to SE Powell, along the Willamette River, the CEID is home to most of Portland’s craft breweries and distilleries and has a strong presence of specialty-food production sites and creative work-spaces. The revitalization of this area of SE Portland has been an important focus of North Rim’s in recent years, and is also where our headquarters is located (8th & Morrison).
